Glamorous and elegant: two words I used in my initial envisioning of this piece. I was working on a series of collars inspired by the Maasai and Zulu artisans, when I decided to incorporate one as the top of a halter. Initially, picturing it all in a chain mesh, this piece called out for the purple mirrors, not leaving me alone until they were transformed into the piece you see here.
